BELMONT PARK
Belmont Park is a 430-acre racetrack in Elmont, N.Y. There are two race meetings at Belmont Park in 2011: the 56-day Spring/Summer meeting will be from April 29 to July 17; and the 37-day Fall Championship meeting will be from Sept. 10 to Oct. 30. Belmont Park is the home of the 143rd Running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday June 11, 2011.

PARKING
Parking Gates Open: 11:15 a.m. daily (8:15 a.m. on Belmont Stakes Day)

General Parking is now FREE ($10 on Belmont Stakes Day)
Preferred Parking is now only $2 ($25 or $40 on Belmont Stakes Day)
Valet Parking is now only $5 (No valet parking on Belmont Stakes Day)
Handicapped parking is available near the Clubhouse and Grandstand.
Parking is on a first-come first-serve basis after the official opening of the parking gates. 
Appropriate parking fees apply.  Handicapped permit or registration required. 

Courtesy Shuttle Bus service is available from all general parking areas.

**Admissions does not include any reserved seating.

Sunset Friday/Party at the Park (July 1,8 & 15)  Grandstand admission is free until 1 p.m. when regular price applies.  Clubhouse admission is $3.00 until 1:00 p.m. when regular price applies

Gates Open at 11:30 a.m.  (except Belmont Stakes Day)

Elegant attire has long been a tradition at Belmont Park.
Ladies & Gentlemen who honor this tradition are always appreciated.
People 12 years and over must abide by the dress code.
Paddock & Winner’s Circle
No shorts or abbreviated wear permitted.
Gentlemen – collared shirts required.
Box Seats 
Gentlemen: Suits or sports jackets required. (tie optional).
Ladies: Dresses, skirts or slack outfits. Absolutely no shorts or jeans.
Ties required on Belmont Stakes Day.
Grandstand

COOLERS

 
Fans may bring coolers into the backyard of the grandstand at Belmont Park, and they are also permitted at our trackside Top of the Stretch Picnic area. Coolers will not be allowed in any other area at the track. Glass containers are not allowed anywhere in the park. As in the past, fans can bring in coolers containing cans or plastic bottles.  All glass containers are prohibited.  

All coolers will be subject to search by NYRA security.

No coolers of any kind will be permitted in the buildings, including all seating areas, or on the apron of the track.

Fans with coolers should enter the track at either the paddock or west end admission gates. Coolers will not be allowed through the clubhouse gate.

NOTE: On Belmont Stakes Day, Saturday, June 11, 2011, no alcoholic beverages of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the facility. The restriction regarding alcohol has been enacted in the interest of patron safety and in an attempt to make sure that people drink responsibly.
 
ATM Machines 
For your convenience, Dime Savings Bank ATMs are located at the following locations:

* 1st floor Grandstand near the end mutuel window closest to finish line.
* 2nd floor Grandstand opposite the Belmont Grill.
* 1st floor Clubhouse adjacent to the Belmont Café 
* 2nd floor Clubhouse opposite the Clubhouse elevator.
* 3rd floor Clubhouse opposite the Clubhouse escalator.
* 4th floor Clubhouse opposite the Turf & Field  Room.

On Belmont Stakes Day additional ATMs are located throughout the racetrack including the Grandstand picnic area.                                                                                                                                
TRACK SERVICES


 
 
Barber Shop
The barber shop is open from Wednesday thru Sunday.  The hours of operation are between 10:00 am  - 4 pm.
Binocular Rentals - $2.00
At the Guest Services Center located on the 1st floor of the Grandstand by the finish line; 2nd floor Guest Services Center opposite the escalator.  

Coat Check 
Available at the Guest Services Centers located on the 1st floor of the Grandstand adjacent to the finish line and 2nd floor Clubhouse opposite the escalator. 

Personal Handicapping Stations
Located on the first floor Grandstand (formerly the clubhouse) and second floor Clubhouse, the Personal Handicapping Stations offer serious handicappers their privacy with personal desktops and televisions. Cost is $3 per day; tickets may be purchased at the Clubhouse Hospitality Center from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. After 1:30 p.m., any remaining seats will be available at the 3rd floor Reserved Seating Office.

Race Replay Centers
Located on the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse opposite the escalator and the 2nd floor of the Grandstand opposite the Belmont Grill.

First Aid

Located in the Security Office at the west end of in the basement.
